today was a lovely day. woke up @ 5am sleeping on the couch, since i guess i passed out last night once i got home from malibu. once i went back to bed for a few hours i got up and my mommy and i had our weekly saturday shopping adventure (costco, michael's, kirkland's, etc). at mikey's we found a lot of sweet decorations for my graduation party. soo excited!
since i seem to make cupcakes for every occasion i decided to make them for the family easter get together we will be having at our home tomorrow. i decided (well really my mommy bought them) to make lemon and red velvet. though the cake part was from a box (one of these days i will make them from scratch) the frosting was from scratch, topped with easter colored sprinkles.
